    Michael Skinner, an accredited investor and serial entrepreneur, brings 25 years of experience across various industries. He has successfully owned and operated over 20 companies in sectors including Water Technology, Alternative Energy, Enterprise Software, SaaS, Data Hosting, Educational Technology, Textiles, Food & Beverage, and Commercial/Residential Construction. His business ventures have spanned Canada, the US, Brazil, China, Australia, Jamaica, and Turks and Caicos.

    Recently, Michael held the position of CEO at the Innovation Cluster Peterborough and the Kawarthas. This non-profit supports entrepreneurs in starting and scaling their businesses. Under his tenure, the Innovation Cluster realized a $54 million economic impact, supported over 300 companies, and helped create upwards of 850 jobs. Additionally, Michael chaired the Center for Advancement of Water and Waste Water for five years, focusing on research and development in water and wastewater technologies.

    He was also the CEO of Rainmaker World Wide Inc (OTCQB: RAKR), a company dedicated to developing cost-effective, scalable, and eco-friendly drinking water solutions.

    Furthermore, Michael founded Operitel Corporation, which developed the award-winning, web-based Learning Management System – LearnFlex™. Operitel was acquired in 2011 by OpenText, which was then Canada’s largest software company.

    John Gillis, an Electrical Engineer passionate about water technology, has over 35 years of experience in the water/wastewater technology sector. He was recognized as a business leader by Water Summit Canada in 2020. John’s entrepreneurial journey began with Measuremax, a business specializing in process instrumentation and automation, primarily serving the water/wastewater market. Measuremax quickly grew into a multi-million dollar company known for its innovative products.

    Since 2006, John has been a founding member of the Peterborough Region Angel Network, which invests in cleantech companies and startups. In 2012, he co-founded Aclarus Ozone, a technology company in the water and wastewater market, which he later sold in 2018. John’s commitment to giving back led him to join the Innovation Cluster as President, focusing on supporting the cleantech industry in Peterborough. Recently, he collaborated with Horizon Aircraft to raise $US125 million via a SPAC, supporting the R&D of their VTOL Aircraft.

    Ryan Moore brings over 25 years of corporate sales and channel development experience in the automotive industry to the table. Working with two of the largest aftermarket suppliers, Ryan significantly increased their market share in Ontario and Quebec. He focused on technical knowledge and customer service, consistently exceeding customer expectations.

    Ryan’s passion for connecting people led him to government relations, where he successfully facilitated and fostered key business relationships and deals. His expertise also extends to the agriculture sector, where he has a track record of successfully selling cattle across North America and exporting semen and embryos worldwide.
